Northumberland was a real belta!!

My weekend started on a Monday with a contingent of MZ Riders from the northern parts on the banks of the   River Coquet – Wikipedia near Warkworth Village From our campsite it was about an hour’s stroll into the town. A slight problem a weir/ford so l took the footbridge to cross into town.

1.Weir/ford.

The Castle.

Monday evening l dined at the

The Castle Brew House – Home | Facebook

Tuesday mornings it’s time for a LOGISTICS RUN to the local store.

MZ & BMW sidecars at the water’s edge.

.MZ mid-stream

MZ now across the river also.

Wednesday a coastal run north and yet more castles!!

And on a causeway out into the NORTH SEA!!!

Lots of DESERT SAND in the North Sea???

Yes, the MZ pilgrims did make it over but going back again was a little problematic?

Then one of our pilgrims had a fracture of the gear lever?

The “Bodge Team” goes into over-drive (Tent peg bodge well not really just too bendy!!)

Next bodge my own 10 mm spanner was used?

Will we be still be able to get off? The Holy Island of Lindisfarne | Visit Northumberland before the FLOWS returns? Or will we after call 999 for a rescue???

Good news the 10 mm spanner worked.

Now on the mainland and a welder was found.

Now more on the local culture
