In WW 2 this Stately Home was used for this purpose DEAR SERGEANT OR THE STORY OF ROUGH RIDING … (A real GEM of a FILM about ARMY MOTORCYCLE TRAINING in COLOUR). This motorcycle training was undertaken by the Intelligent Corp stationed at Wentworth. My own MOTHER wore the “Intelligent Corp flash” on her uniform (Our Olive of the Intelligent Corps)
