I arrived tea time Friday to a fully erected tent, bed all made up and my evening meal was waiting for me. Yes Lesley went Thursday with everything in her sidecar, trouble was I packed the wrong tent, it was the tepi tent which is a little tall for her to put up, but it has one positive, you don’t have to thread poles.
You will see from the pictures there was a good mix of outfits.
Our new rambler, Chaddy, I think we wore him out.
Steve’s outfit may be small, but not small enough for the traffic chaos.
A pair of BM’s, there is a K under the cover.
Keith and Julia’s Divvy and RX4
From this angle the rad looks huge, so much so you wouldn’t think the bike has an engine.
To be the run out lead ship.
A keep it simple outfit, means not much to go wrong.
Charlie’s dog bowl made a great watering station for the chickens.
The run out.
Every run has tale end charlie.
A small group went on a ramble to a local-ish pub and we came across the impassable (so it said on the sign) ford. But we found out it wasn’t impassable if you are brave enough to go for it in a Landover.
Never to be seen again!
Peter’s Lomax
The Wing Ding section.
Really John, you must be kidding
The local club was frequented by most, the beer was good plus only £3.60 to £3.80 a pint. A few had meals in the Kings Head, nice pub but the prices were, should I say different from the club. The food from the shop on site is really good and a handy alterative to the pub.
All in all, a great weekend and thanks to the West Mids team for putting it on.
