Red Dragons and the Village of the last Wolf

It’s the last Saturday in June with its long day light hour’s ideal for riding and my journey takes me to the west over the River Dee, with me now seeing more signs of the Red Dragon.

The Cheshire Grinning Cat Dragon!!

Another hybrid l spot on the rally site is this CONCEPT Pan/Ural outfit?

Ideal for “fording” with its high V4 engine.

Comes with a sub-frame with seems to make it extra wide for my kind of riding.

My ideal of COLOUR for a MZ AG/Farm Bike!

Lunch is calling so l take a stroll over the River Dee to The Grouse Inn. www.thegrouseinncarrog.co.uk and one of the specials is Black pudding & apple sauce with salad, which l found very tasty for my palate.

Now Sunday and in the village of the last WOLF killed in England at Barthomley www.olivercromwell.org/barthomley.htm Even the brook in the village is called The Wulvarn Brook.

When you walk into the White Lion you go back to the year 1614 AD. Also a haunt for the local VMCC members.

Norton

AJS single with its very proud “Jampot rear shocks”

St. Bertolines Church now very peaceful, however on the 23rd December 1642 AD at the time of the civil war was a place of massacres.

Maureen please note a PEW for the Bell Ringers.

For the PILGRIM WANDERERS in our midst, Barthomley is on the www.twosaintsway.org.uk

Bye for now from the last wolf village. Michael.
