OILY BOOT/RUKKA TROUSERS TO THE OILCAN CAFE! Saturday the 29th December 2018 l leave home for the Cobweb Run organised by the South Yorkshire Sidecar Club to the The Carding Shed | The Vintage Motoring Experience however 10 miles into my journey l notice that my left boot his slipping off the the gear lever when changing gear and also the smell of burnt oil, also my left boot is covered in OIL!! Seem to have more oil on my boot/trousers than in the airhead boxer engine! So the only option is to return home to do some pertinent maintenance!

The OILY culprit was the oil pressure switch

It becomes a “Sidecar Balancing Act” to remove & replace the oil pressure switch coming a new from my WONDROUS GARAGE spare parts department!

On the Last Sunday of 2018 l ride to the west banks of the River Trent and the “Devils Cauldron” at Cromwell Locks.
