With Michael of Alfreton out on his Super Sherpa on Saturday I thought it time to blow off the cobwebs that had gathered on the 300 on Sunday afternoon. It was a ride to the top of the Mendips to explore our new local playground and to get a bit of exercise.
My first stop was in Chedder Gorge, I did pick a place with the fewest people, staying safe. There were quite a few bikers on the road, sorry to say they were travelling in groups, plus parked it groups of 5 or 6.
It was time to find some quieter roads https://www.mendiphillsaonb.org.uk/
The road to Priddy has some nice views

Just a 60 mile gentle ride, staying safe as the wheels of the bike haven’t been turned for a few months. Next time hopefully a shop will be open selling ice-cream as that would have rounded the afternoon off a treat.
