Kiwi Light Horse Riders

Wednesday the 10th of October tuned out to be quite a BARMY day with a very clear BIG BLUE sky and temperatures climbing up to 23c for October, yes time to strip off again!

Kiwi Bob & Steve of Sawley turn up for tea & coffee at Lad & Dads place on the “Light weight steeds” all made by Mr Honda.

Time also to remember the NZ’s role in history’s last great cavalry charge – Newsroom…/nzs-role-in-historys-last-great-cavalry-charg…

Our destination was the The Strines Inn | Traditional Country Pub | Sheffield for the IMTC Wednesday Lunch Meet.

Time to disrobe it getting hotter!

The Strines bathed in SUNSHINE.

Our next port of call was the Cafe | The Anglers Rest – Bamford’s Community Owned Pub, Post … this café comes on recommendations of Bob and was the first time for myself & Steve.

The Rest Cafe Bamford.

The Comet.

The Rest Cafe frequented by members of the

Vincent HRD Owners Club must be good!

One thing that was very noticeable this Wednesday was the amount of traffic on the roads just like a MINI BANK HOLIDAY with people wearing tee shirts & shorts again and seems that workers are not “WORKING” this Wednesday?

Bye for now Bob,Steve & Michael.(retired persons)
