John and Tracy’s travels

We have recently had a few interesting weekends. We had an enjoyable ride out to the Easter Egg for a day visit. We had a cracking ride up to the SYSCC new site at Crow Edge in glorious sunshine. We were made welcome upon arrival by the South Yorks. crew as always, who pointed us in the direction of the tea urn. The run out was just leaving as we arrived but there was still quite a few on the field to chat with and renew old acquaintances.

And these rallies are tiring!!! A couple of weeks later we attended the Wolds Bike run https://lovelincolnshirewolds.com/events/view/1370/wolds-motorcycle-run-2019, This is the first year we have completed the run. We did it on the CB750 and she didn’t miss a beat despite all the heavy rain showers that were thrown at her.

Saw an interesting diesel engined Royal Enfield

Another outfit which participated in the run.

We then attended the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln for the inspire Lincoln event https://inspirelincoln.org.uk/ A good turn out with over 600 bikes but only three outfits lots of bikes to see and a touching remembrance service for all those lost in Bomber Command during WW2. There were big queues in the café and at the pop up BBQ, but well worth the wait. A line up of three wheels? Never seen so many can-ams in one place.

Dakota Flypast

Interesting Nitrous Oxide powered C50!!!

A few special paint jobs

And some interesting memorabilia

And an old Honda

and a new Honda

On a more serious note if you have never been its worth going to see the memorial, there is a great café and well stocked shop and it has great views out over the City of Lincoln.
