Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2010
The Japanese distributor for Watsonian Sidecars Corofi put on an impressive display at the show. Two fantastic sidecars retaining the classic look with a modern style easy access.
Will we see them in the UK? I do hope so.

UK OVERLAND 2012
2012 is an important year in the UK. The Olympics will be held in London, Preston Guild holds this 20 yearly event and Watsonian Sidecars will be 100 years old. I believe the Watsonian sidecar importer here in Japan, Corofi, intends attending Watsonian's bash having first traversed across Asia & Europe to reach the UK. Using a Watsonian sidecar of course. Hopefully I want to go too but I would prefer to use an MZ & sidecar but time will tell. I would like to take two passengers to share the experiences that such a journey will provide. Estimated duration of traversing across Asia is between 4-6 weeks. It all depends on how long it takes on getting the bike released in Vladivostok. On arriving in Europe I intend to take another 4-6 weeks seeing friends and taking in the sights. Total journey time will be between 3-4 months.

It is finshed, just waiting for the rear bike rack.
The Ural Cross has been developed by the European distributor, as a result of customer demand in Europe. The sidecar body is apparently available separately and you can swap it for your standard body. If the sidecar is available complete with chassis it could be fitted to other makes of adventure / road bikes. With Urals keen pricing this chair could be a big hit.
