Ray "Two Cakes" on his 1952 Speed Twin parked up on London Bridge in the 1960's. The bad hair day theme was even alive back then, but try and park on London Bridge today for a photo, no chance. Actually, Ray was lost on his way to Brands Hatch, no M25 in them days.

Ray's Yamaha TR1 at Bray near Dublin. The basic V twin TR1 engine grew from a 920cc to a 1000cc and then to a 1100cc which was fitted in the Yamaha Virago which sort of replaced the TR1. Lesley was the proud owner of a 1995 Virago 1100, with the same chair above, a Watsonian Palma. The engine then got ceramic bores and carbonised con rods and a few other tweaks by Yamaha and is in Lesley's current bike the XVS1100 Dragstar. Ok, the top end leaves a lot to be desired, but it is simple, well proven, and a very reliable solid work horse and suprisingly quick to 60mph as max torque is only 2500rpm.

This is a picture of Ann, I think in her courting days,
somehow you just know this outfit belongs to Jeff.

Loaded and ready for the off, another Palma Outfit and a few years on from the above picture,
but there is no mistaking a Jeff Outfit, note the rear sidecar light cluster fitted to the
pannier on the sidecar
